Meet the Team

Reem Prakkash

Research Assistant

Reem is a Research Assistant in the Department of Psychological Medicine at King’s College London and a member of the CARE-HSC team. Within Workstream 1: Formal (Workforce) Carers, she works with NHS peer researchers to explore the mechanisms that perpetuate racial inequities in health and social care outcomes. Her role involves applying both qualitative and quantitative methods to examine patterns in health and social care outcomes and to support the development of more equitable practice and policy.

Reem holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology and Psychiatry (Distinction) from King’s College London and has experience across People Analytics, Organisational Compliance, and Neurodiversity Research. She is particularly interested in inclusive, participatory research practices and co-produced approaches that centre lived experience, alongside promoting wellbeing and inclusion in workplaces through evidence-based research.

“Combining mixed-methods research with insights from lived experience helps uncover inequities in the care workforce and informs organisational practices that support staff to grow and feel valued.”
