John Olusola Ojo
CARE-HSC Collaborative Advisory Board (CAB) member
John Olusola Ojo is an Education Mental Health Practitioner with Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust and Founder and Public Health Strategy Lead at Cradle of Wellbeing CIC. A family physician and public-health researcher, his work brings together young people’s mental health, school-linked early intervention, primary care, preventive and lifestyle medicine, and community partnerships.
John is particularly interested in why some children, families and communities face greater barriers to support, and how services can work together to close those gaps. He developed the C.R.A.D.L.E. Framework to support coordinated, school-linked wellbeing care and contributes to research and community initiatives focused on more equitable access and outcomes. As a member of the CARE-HSC Collaborative Advisory Board, he brings a clinical, public-health and community-focused perspective to its work on race equity in health and social care.
John is keen to explore research partnerships that bring evidence and community perspectives together to inform decisions in health and social care. He welcomes opportunities to collaborate on practical approaches to narrowing health inequalities, particularly through prevention, early intervention and better access to support.
